Pay Less For Airline Fares

These days we are always looking for ways to get to our destination as quickly as possible. It is common knowledge that flying is the fastest means to get to anywhere in the world. Business, school and pleasure take us to different places and we have to get there in good time.

As an airline is the fastest means of travel, so is it the most expensive way to make a long trip. But you must keep an eye on the funds you spend on airfares.

Did you know that there are ways you can reduce your airfares by as much as two-thirds?

Feeling a Little Gassy?

Well, gas prices are 'down' to a national average of under $3.00 a gallon; however, that is still enough of an expense for tips on how to save when at the pump to be of interest.

The first and most obvious step is to simply drive as little as possible. This is not only frugal living on your part, but good stewardship of our earth's resources.

Search for the lowest gas prices online, before you head out the door. My favorite two web sites for accomplishing this are GasBuddy.com and GasPriceWatch.com.

Driving Conservatively

My first car was actually a full sized pickup truck. I was 15 years old when I acquired my hardship driver's license. The challenge, in a pickup truck, is keeping something in the gas tank. Turns out the truck made 11 miles per gallon, at best. Having very little income at that time, I was keenly aware of how much I was spending at the gas pump. I did everything possible to decrease my gasoline expenses.
